How to cook Lamb Bacon
Always cook before consumption.
The most important step of cooking is to allow the LamBacon™ to cook from room temperature. Heating slowly ensures the flavour renders throughout the meat without burning.
For best results we recommend cooking in the oven.
OVEN COOKING METHOD
1. Arrange the LamBacon™ on a baking paper-lined shallow tray or wire rack. 2. Put into a cold oven
3. Turn the oven on to 200’C (180’C Fan-orced).
4. Check 15 minutes later.
5. When the LamBacon™ is golden brown, remove from the oven. & Immediately transfer the LamBacon™ to a paper towel before serving.
Cooking times may vary depending on your oven
STOVE TOP COOKING METHOD
1. Start by placing the LamBacon™ in a cold skillet or small frying pan.
2. Place onto a low to medium-low heat.
3. Turn regulary so that the LamBacon™ browns evenly and cooks to your desired crispness.
4. Immediately transfer the LamBacon™ to a paper towel before serving.
