500gm packet fettuccine,
1 tablespoon olive oil,
1 large onion, finely chopped,
110g lemon and herb Lamb bacon, finely sliced,
200gm button mushrooms,
300ml pure cream,
1 cup grated tasty cheese.
Cook pasta according to packet instructions. Drain well.
While pasta is cooking heat a large frypan over high heat, add oil, butter, onion, bacon and mushrooms.
Cook stirring for 5 minutes or until bacon is crisp and mushrooms are tender.
Add cream, bring to the boil then lower heat and simmer for 2 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Add pasta to the pan. Stir through well until heated through.
Season with salt and pepper and
Serve topped with an extra slice of lamb bacon, chopped fresh parsley and shaved parmesan.
